A little over 3 years before the release, writer/producer/director J.A. Steel received a CD in the mail of a demo song "Doesn't Matter Anyway" from virtuoso Emily O'Neary. Steel was immediately hooked and asked Emily to contribute the soundtrack of THE THIRD SOCIETY.
Emily, who has been singing and playing piano since the age of 12, contributed an unprecedented number of songs to the soundtrack. Her band, The Emily O'Neary Band, actually contributed all the songs for the film.
Emily co-wrote the songs "Doesn't Matter Anyway", "Angel Tonight" and solely wrote "Passion" and various other tracks for the film. Emily's ability to overcome budget limitations with the power of her voice and songwriting abilities is phenomenal. "Angel Tonight", recorded in the Guitar player's living room on an electric piano, still manages to convey the emotion necessary to engage the audience during an emotional intense scene in the film.
